Bhavani Sethurao

I am Bhavaniprasad Sethurao (don't worry - you can call me Bhavani). I joined Symatrix at the start of March as Application Support ERP Manager. I have worked in Oracle Applications for over 22 years, primarily in eBusiness Suite but also Cloud Applications in the last 3/4 years. I have worked on multiple large-scale implementations and finance transformation programs enabling me to build a strong expertise in both Financials and Procurement streams of Oracle Applications. Additionally, working with client finance SMEs across different countries and continents has given me a thorough grounding in accounting and finance processes.

At the end of last year / early this year when I was looking for a new challenge, I came across this role at Symatrix and decided to go for it. The entire process from Application to Job Offer was excellent, a breath of fresh air compared to some of the experiences I have had in the past. Be it interactions with the recruiter or the actual interviews themselves, I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process and felt as though I was part of the team even before an offer was made. While it has been just a few weeks since I joined, the team here has made me feel so welcome that I feel I have been a part of this team for much longer! I am quite looking forward to some exciting and rewarding times here as we grow and expand our services.

On a personal front, I live in a male minority household with a wonderful wife and 2 lovely daughters. My wife works as an Early Years' Educator; older daughter is studying Natural Sciences (keen to become a scientist) at Cambridge and the younger one is a highly entrepreneurial 10-year-old! We live in North London but will soon be moving to Southwest London which I am hoping is a more permanent move!

Outside of work I love traveling, reading (mainly fiction), watching movies (and of late watching Korean dramas! Influenced by older daughter) and an ardent follower of cricket (irrespective of who's playing!) and football. I used to play both in my younger days but sadly, have not played in a long time.
