Belgium, France, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UK and the United Arab Emirates
where they manage a fleet of over 21,000 access platform units.

It’s market position is founded on three key principles: industry-leading equipment
maintenance and technical support; a commitment to meeting their customers’
expectations and hiring, developing and retaining excellent employees at all levels.
Employing over 1650 staff across the globe in an extremely specialised market meant that
Loxam needed a single HR system to support their business both today and in the future.
Having already implemented Oracle HCM Cloud Loxam recognised that they were not using
it to its optimum and wanted to maximise their investment to ensure that their solution
was able to support their guiding principal of hiring, developing and retaining excellent
employees. Equally they wanted to ensure that they could manage the costs of supporting
and enhancing their implementation over the year.
It was at this point that they appointed a third party consultant to look to the market to
review the options for a trusted partner that was able to work collaboratively with Loxam to
enhance their current implementation and also advise and guide on future improvements.
The partner that they were looking for also had to be able to offer on-going support and be
proactive in their approach.
Following a competitive market review Loxam awarded the contract to Symatrix. The reason
for doing so was cemented by the fact that Loxam saw the Symatrix team as people that
they could work with collaboratively, experts in their field and a safe pair of hands to help
Loxam to achieve their objective of a first class Oracle HCM Cloud application.
Now into the second year of the relationship Symatrix is their ‘go to’ in terms of managing
their Oracle HCM Cloud solution, as well as providing issue resolution. Loxam and Symatrix
work closely together having weekly and monthly reviews to ensure that their HR system
continues to support the global business. As a team they now have clear robust processes
to actively deploy the enhancements to further improve and support their HCM investment.
Additionally, by working together as a team they are able to ensure that the clear processes
are followed across their internal HR function, through to IT and subsequently to Symatrix,
meaning that they can forecast any changes required and achieve cost containment.
